Off and running again, first ep of 8 last night.

As usual a bit thin plot wise when introducing a new assistant, but not bad – certainly had me tingling once or twice.

Wife's main comment – "Doesn't she look a lot like Amy Pond ?"

Roll on next week !

I quite like the looks of Clara but not her attitude. I guess, like Amy, she will grow on me.

That's not what's growing on me.

**SEMI-SPOILER/** I felt bad for the chief minion. **/SEMI-SPOILER**

Kind of a throw-away story, but not bad for a starter episode for a new season.

I would like to think that the client might re-appear.

Cerdic01 Apr 2013 5:37 a.m. PST

I am certain the 'Client' will re-appear!

Liked the motorcycle…..

I guess we shouldn't tell them about the trained Corgis then?

Farstar01 Apr 2013 4:14 p.m. PST

Wait. You can train Corgis?

Thought it was a bit thin – new assistant or no new assistant – and a bit rushed.

I really wish they hadn't gone over to this one plot per show format, its much better if you have to wait at least a week to see how things turn out and there's more story time available.

Was good to see the Doc's a biker though!
