Thanks for the heads up. I'll avoid the place like the plague.

I can see it now:

-- A growing black market of pork products sold in the neighborhood around the college

-- An emergence of underground pork eaters on campus

-- "Pork pushers" plaguing the student body
("Hey, kid? Want a 'fatback?' hit before class?")

-- Isolated incidents of "pork protesters" disrupting classes and the general atmosphere of the college

I mean, really.

*rolls eyes*

I'm with Rrobbyrobot. I frequently visit Dallas to dine at the cafeterias of their many historically black colleges and universities. Henceforth, Paul Quinn college has lost my business.

Are we teaching our college students that the man will take care of them? No need to learn and make good choices for yourself! We'll think for you!

"Eating pork can lead to high blood pressure, high cholesterol, cancer, sodium retention and heart problems, not to mention weight gain and obesity.

Eating can lead to all those things – it's not just pork.

Exactly. And really, it's the kind of pork and how one prepares it. Bacon, ribs, and fatback are obvious, but even lean cuts of pork (which abound) can be less than healthy if they're drowned in a sweet BBQ sauce. Of course the same could be said for chicken, or brisket, or turkey, etc.

There are two religions I could never follow – JuDaism and Muslim. Bacon, ham, ribs and pork crackling are the reason. I'll accept the increased risks.

Pres. Sorrell is another self-righteous anal orifice. I'm disgusted to have him in the same state.
