A comet is supposed to be gracing the heavens this evening, low in the southwest, and here in middle Tennessee we have clear skies all over
except for low, in the southwest! -ity
It never fails— glorious celestial event + my desire to see it= obscuring cloud cover. and :-P.

Yup – in UK viewing was to start 8th March (evening). Do I need to say it's been rain all the way (some snow) since then ? |

Was the same with the near-miss asteroid. |

I have ranted previously about NE PA weather whenever there are meteor showers, conjunctions, aurorae, etc. I THINK I saw the comet tonight by the setting sun, but it may have been a contrail. |

Been cloudy and windy all day here in DFW, ahead of a storm system. The line of storms moved through about an hour or so ago. Ah well. |

Ditto tonight. I hate cloudy nights. |

I missed it last night. Either I never could identify it, or the one cloud in the sky covered it while I was out. Which is possible, as that cloud was low in the southwest sky

The last three nights here have been totally clear, except for a solitary bloody cloud, low on the western horizon. Grrr! |

Looked last night. No comet. Maybe I've missed it. I'll wait for the April return trip, I guess. I'll bet cloud cover is scheduled for then. |
