Thoughts and prayers go out to the Venezuelan people. May they find peace, freedom and opportunity with his passing. |

I'd keep checking
I still wonder about Francisco Franco

OK. Wikipaedia. Personally, don't know much about him. link Still, looks from the article that he did a pretty good job and the people generally supported him. Dictator? possibly, anti-West, yes, but that doesn't automatically make him a 'bad' person. I'm guessing that, on balance and in the context of his country, he was one of the good guys. On that basis, I'm happy to give him the respect afforded to 'our' dead. |

For sure, the guy was a knob to the US, but he was democratically elected and revered by his people. Some of the dictator propaganda above kind of made me go "huh?" RIP Hugo. -- Tim |

He reportedly said some of the most outrageous and irrational things. His diatribes and incoherency will be missed by the Medía and all her fans

STILL don't "get" what I wrote that was in ANY way disrespectful to Mr. Chavez
I responded *positively* to an earlier post (which HAS not been deleted!)
Dear Editor, are you PMS'ing or is random deletion now going to be the norm on TMP? |

In your case, you violated the "no politics" rule. |

In your case, you violated the "no politics" rule. ANY MORE SO than the poster I was REPLYING to and whose post REMAINS? |

Yet "CHORTLE" remains on Blue Fez
"I'll retire to Bedlam." do what you want. |

If you have a specific complaint about a specific post, PM me with the details. I'm not psychic, I don't know which post you were replying to. The Blue Fez is not TMP, and different rules apply. |
