Never understood how Terry Nation got to take all the credit – it was the design that was iconic, without Ray Cusick The Daleks would be just another crazed robot race. His design – even the egg whisk weapon and sink plunger arm – was chilling. A brilliant memorable image – who outside of Who-fandom remembers the conceptually very similar Warmachines ? But everyone knows The Daleks.
