If you have been following the manhunt in LA from around the world I have a sad update. I find tears filling my eyes as another Law Enforcement Officer has been killed in the line of duty. This is the second in a week in Southern California. Today two San Bernadino County Sheriff Deputies were shot, 1 fatally while attempting to capture the nut job who has been terrorizing So. Cal for the last week. This would be the fourth person he killed and the 5th Police Officer he has shot in a week.
As I sit and watch the cabin burn that the suspect was last seen in, I find myself hoping the suspect was still alive as the building burns around him. Knowing the type of coward he is I'm sure he probably already killed himself.
None of this will bring back the fallen Officers or comfort their families. But its just how I feel. U.K. |

Well said. At least there won't be a long and costly trial (see Ft. Hood shooter Hassan) to go with the long and costly, sadly in lives, manhunt |
