My blog is an eclectic mix of wargaming, writing, liberal politics and general rambling. Yet one post consistently gets more hits than any other – How to solve "Missing Flash.ocx" the simple way.

I originally posted because when the advice on the net was all about downloading repair/uninstall-reinstall programmes, when all you have to do is rename a file.

While the rest of the net seems to have caught up, I note my blog is #1 non-sponsored link on Google (as of today) for the phrase 'Missing Flash.ocx', and I assume my hits from all over the world are for this (I find it hard to believe people in Indonesia, Bolivia and Tanzania are that interested in 10mm WSS Prussians).

So Adobe, get your act together, and give the updates the correct file name.

Well, at least I understand what "10mm WSS Prussians" means. I haven't got the faintest what a "missing flash.ocx" is!
