If you liked any of the sound tracks from the 3 previous movies, you will enjoy The Hobbit Soundtrack.

I like how they weave in the musical themes from LOTR with the new themes of the Hobbit.

Pay attention to which one you buy as there are 2 versions

The special edition has bonus tracks and extended cuts of the other songs. I got the standard soundtrack without realizing. Had I known I would have got the special ed.

Got to agree with Xin. I thought the soundtrack was excellent with just enough 'old' themes mixed in with the new.

I was really pleased they'd kept some of the songs in and these were used really well. Loved the Neil Finn song over the end credits too!
