Looking for an image for my IABSM cards (German Rally Card) I searched both search engines for German Officer ordering (No quote marks so not exact phrase search) Bing – produces a surprising amount of under dressed young ladies, approx 1:50 porn, 1:30 glamour, including an image of what I can only assume would be classed as 21st century Waffen SS Bikini. Google – less ladies, but a far wider range of rubbish, including an awful lot of police and army officers from what appeared to be the Indian sub continent, and for some reason Officer Dibble from Top Cat and Homer Simpson. |

What have you searched for before, Last Hussar? When I do, the top row in Google is all current news – one WW2 veteran being tried for war crimes, and one in Afghanistan – and Bing gives me lots of pictures of paraphernalia – knives, caps, shoulder tabs, etc. And a couple of pictures of German Shepherd dogs. Obviously Bing knows what you like. strangely enough, the last result on Google is B.A. Baracus' van. |

I got the A team van on Google as well, I forgot that. It wasn't last one either! I got loads of German Shepard dogs, and I've never searched for any kind of dog. |

Interesting. Out of curiosity I gave Google a search with those words and got basically a page of Germans in uniforms with quite a few miniatures mixed in with one woman

Personally I find that both Google and Bing are not that good. My first choice is always Yahoo If you key your search correctly it cuts down on the porn and other distractions. First use quotation marks and the minus sign to narrow down. For example "German Officer" "WW2" -action, -toy I got this one after going down a few pages

From what I've read, your Google may not be the same as others' Google. Since Google is always trying to capture information about you to sell it for tailored ads, things that you searched for may affect the results you get on other searches. I don't know if Bing does that, but it is Microsoft, so I wouldn't put it past them, either. |
