I want to a friend to have access to a 350 page pdf/docx, without emailing. Is there a place on line I can put it for them to pick up as and when. Thanks |

Sign up for Dropbox; or if your a Mac type try SugarSync which those people tend to like more. |

Nope – us Mac types are all over Dropbox as well! :) I use it every day for work and non-work stuff – can't recommend it highly enough! |

Dropbox is great, I never have to email stuff to myself anymore. I've got a Mac and two PC's linked to my Dropbox account and have never had a problem. |

If you've got a Google ID (for Gmail or Blogger, among other things), then you can use Google Drive, too. |

There is also Ubuntu 1 as well. I use it in addition to Dropbox. It has the advantage that you can specify multiple folders on your drive that you want to sync. Cheers. GeorgeD |

Thanks, but I'm not sure this is the sort of thing I need. Basically I want to post a file on line, and they access via a password, that doesn't require downloading anything (I have Google Drive for myself, and Dropbox appears to need the same) I suppose I'm after Flickr for documents. |
