All my comments would get me a trip to the DH. So instead, I'll just say
I'd buy that for a dollar! |

Robocop!? What about Doctor Detroit!?!?

Seriously though, Detroit has been the proverbial canary in the coal mine for the American urban condition for quite awhile

Spoke to a trucker in Florida. He said that his insurance won't cover his cargo if he's not out of Detroit before 23:00. |

Moved out of Michigan nearly a decade ago. It was either that or start shooting. The place is a garbage pit. |

Well, it depends. If I had a 16 year old daughter I wouldn't want here wandering around there carelessly. I wouldn't be too happy about my wife being there alone, either. OTOH, I've never had any problems myself in any of America's "post-apocalypse practice zones" like Detroit, Camden, etc. Driving around in my giant old domestic cars I don't really bother anyone or look like easy money. -Kle. |

Has it changed since the 70s or I'm I blind to things around me? Of my working visits to the USA the series of visits to Detroit in 1974 were the most acceptable that I've had. x42 |
