I put it up there with "For Your Eyes Only". Which to my mind is one of the weakest Bond songs ever. The original theme, Thunderball, From Russia with love, Goldfinger, Diamonds are forever – those were great songs (as was We have all the time in the world from OHMSS). Then they started getting pop groups in and you got crap like "Live and Let Die"…and it was all downhill from there. Was The spy who loved me the worst ? Or was it View to a kill ? Or nobody does it better ? Or something else (can't even recall the more recent ones) IMO, I'm sure other will disagree  |

Some people like Die another Day, and whilst it is in my opinion not bad (probably the best of themes in the post goldeneye period) It is not really my cup of tea. I quite like "Nobody does it better" as it is quite ego boosting when your girlfriend sings it to you. I like the original theme, and the songs of the Connery era better, with the exception of Thunderball, and I will include "we have all the time in the world" . I cannot comment on the A. Adkins theme as it has not been released yet. |
