Seems like I'll be here for a few weeks. Any stores come to mind? Thanks, Dan |

Used to be one in Metairie called Galactic Games but that was pre-Katrina. |

Thanks. I'll keep looking, or I may just have some things sent to my hotel. Strange to see such few local resources in a metro area this size. Dan |

Keep in mind that New Orleans was all but wiped off the map by Katrina. It may be a big city, but in many respects New Orleans is less than a decade old. |

There is a 54mm store in the French quarter (Le Petit Soldat?). The original owner sold to a woman who seems much more into various collectibles, among them some 54mm figures. But none of the stuff was ever gaming things, unless you game with Imrie-Risley figures. As for few local resources, NYC has almost none. Only Starbucks and mobile phones can afford the extortionate commercial real estate prices. |

Farstar: "Keep in mind that New Orleans was all but wiped off the map by Katrina." I hear ya. I understand that all too well. But I lived in New Orleans in the 80s and the options were slim to none then too. Dan |
