Do I need a separate headphones/mic to do this or is the device capable right out of the box to do this? If I need a headset what size mic jack does it require? |

My wife &i did video skype while she was gone on a trip. No headphones needed on her ipad. Dont know the ipad version but she bought new a few months ago. Only problem was that she had to call my hp tablet, since I couldnt call out on the hp. |

It is capable right out of the box. You can chose the front camera, back camera or no video at all. Mic and speaker already built in. Headphones can be used if you don't want folks listening in on what the other party says. Regards, the Gorb |
