Tested both on the same speed site. I.E.9 download speeds 25% faster. |

Thatīs interesting, though I donīt use either one. Chrome to me is nothing special, kinda meh actually, and I.E. seems too clunky. I am a Firefox man myself. |

I find that some web sites don't "play well" depending on which browser. Chrome does not like IE optimized sites (SharePoint) and IE can't work with some of the "newer" sites (HTML-5 driven). We are almost back to the Browser Wars (which figures for those?) |

Firefox on the PC. Chrome on the tablet. IE in the dustbin. Regards, the Gorb |

Can't be bothered to download Firefox, otherwise I'd do a three way test. |

He's a Eureka Boiler Suit Ape: Sub Commander Julius. He does have a gun, but it is out of sight on the other side of the mini. |

Absolutely hated FireFox. I loved IE for years, but then eventually (after a false start with Firefox because people said it was good) tried out Chrome. I generally like Chrome, though lately I'm noticing having to sometimes refresh 'hung' links before a page loads. |

I exclusively use IE in work as part of the Government contract with Microsoft. However, at home I find Chrome the best browser currently. I have used Firefox/Waterfox for the last 8 or 9 years (since it was Phoenix, then Firebird) but switched to Chrome in the last couple of months. I have done numerous tests on Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome and download speeds I find identical in all 3 browsers. However, web page browsing is definitely faster in Chrome and that is because it appears to render complex webpages faster. A good benchmark test for your browser is: peacekeeper.futuremark.com If you intend to use HTML 5 sites currently IE and Firefox aren't fully compatible with all video standards, but no doubt will improve. However, as in everything else in this world its down to personal choice and as is common the best is not always the most popular choice (as an example VHS v Betamax). |

Firefox works well enough. No to IE – too big a target. |

Firefox is excellent. Currently doing testing of various browsers at work and I have to say I'm seriously unimpressed by Chrome. I feel it has some serious security flaws. Firefox I like. |

Firefox for me but I've experimented with Chrome and the lesser known Maxthon 3, The latter is impressive especially for graphics. |
