I'm looking for a free Photo Editor. When I switched to Windows 7, I discovered they no longer have the Editor built into the Picture Viewer. I loved the "Auto-Fix" function. My needs are simple, does anyone have any suggestions? thanks, Dave |

GIMP is there, but it may be a little 'high end' for what you need. |

It is free though and does have good online help. |

I like Google's Picassa. Their autfix function is "I'm feeling lucky" |

GIMP can be a bit much. Try Paint.net |

I use both Paint.net and GIMP. Both free so give them a try. |

PzGeneral:@ Open your pics with Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I tend to bounce back and forth between that, Paint and GIMP, to get the job done. I concur that GIMP is a bit of a learning curve; I'm still just a tyro using it; but it is very versatile
