What they don't realize is that they are all in the cast of the next SAW flick – about folks on a cruise…

A Spanish-American War-themed cruise sounds like a great idea. Cuba or the Philipines?

I'm with willthepiper on this one. Manila Bay, here we come! grin

Didn't they promise they would quit making them five movies ago ?

Patrick, there's a regular promise, and then there's the "Hollywood promise".

I don't.

We never needed those awful movies, and we certainly don't need a cruise like this. Aren't the regular ones horrible enough what with botchulism, murders, fires, and running aground drowning people?

OK, OK, before I noticed the thread was, indeed on the 'Plus Boards' and really not had been a fan or watched the movie, I immediately thought….SAW? Ah,yes, must mean the Spanish-American War… What a eclectic notion of having a cruise based upon an old war

I have been studying military history way too long it would appear……..

And there was me thinking everyone got an M249 to play with on board.

Makes as much sense as the Titanic cruise they did this year…

Yeah…when I read the thread title I was thinking "Squad Automatic Weapon" too. frown

As with some of the others, I also was thinking of the weapon. Which made for a good question as to where the cruise would take place.

Somewhere off the coast of Somalia sprang to mind….

At any rate, from the news item it appears that none of the producers, etc. of the franchise will be aboard. Pity. In that event a maritime 'disaster' might not have been a bad thing.

Nononononono! Combine the cruise with the 'Das Boot' Commemorative Re-Enactment Wolfpack Flotilla and issue them live ammunition. TORPEDO LOS!

And we get a new eco-friendly coral reef!

If they are going to make a cruise out of a "horro" movie, it has to be Rocky Horror(drag mandetory at dinner)
