Kareem Abdul Jabbar is old! When did this happen?

I remember when he was Lew Alcindor.

And he wasn't allowed to dunk the ball. Yep, young'un, that's when basketball was a pure sport…..

In college, correct. Bill Walton had to go through the same ridiculous experience of jumping up and dropping the ball in over the basket. Technically not a dunk.

Lew dunked all the time once he turned pro with the Bucks. Then a year or two later he was Kareem.

Remember him fighting Bruce Lee in "Game of Death"?

1988, he made both ends of a 1 and one, down by one, to beat the Pistons for the championship. Loved it!
