I just had to explain to one of my younger female relatives that on Facebook, putting "interested in women" is NOT what you put when you're not ready for a boyfriend right now.

And "interested in men and women" does NOT mean you like to have friends of all kinds.

A young friend of mine, who is a nurse, is on Facebook with a picture where she is wearing a new shirt that reads "Feel safe at night – sleep with a nurse." She's so innocent, she just thinks it's a shirt about nurses. It never occurred to her that it might give someone the wrong impression…

The kids's confusion, I'll buy.

But how old is the nurse? Are you 100% sure that is is her – and not you – that is being too innocent?

You can never be 100% sure… grin

It's become such a double entendre world.

No confusion here:
Fell safe at night. Sleep with Smith and Wesson!

Yes, we need to move back to more single-entendres:

Its past double-entendres. Its past triple. Seems to be double-double, or triple-double. Can't even ask any type of question anymore without getting THE LOOK.

In legal shenanigans, can't answer a question without being called a liar. No one believes anything anymore. Maybe that's why my brain gave up in '93…I don't believe anyone either…Not even myself.

And I don't lie.
