You PRIME figures, using PRIMER.

At lea'st there are no apo'strophe's involved!

DesertScrb18 Mar 2012 8:36 p.m. PST

That should be part of the orientation here at TMP.

Irregardless, John, you should orientate everyone.

kyoteblue18 Mar 2012 9:00 p.m. PST

Your not the boss of me…..

Kayl MacLaren18 Mar 2012 9:22 p.m. PST

If it's only one figure, isn't it already prime? That doesn't make any sense, John :(

WeeSparky18 Mar 2012 9:31 p.m. PST

Calm down! It sounds as if you're about to loose your mind.

If you do not play the way I do, you are in Error

I coated my figures with a thin sheet of primer?

Personal logo Saginaw Supporting Member of TMP19 Mar 2012 4:00 a.m. PST

"I sprayed my figures".

How's that? evil grin

jdpintex19 Mar 2012 5:49 a.m. PST

I primered' my figure's.

I used grey/gray prime'r.

Everyone else' is in error's.

alien BLOODY HELL surfer19 Mar 2012 6:24 a.m. PST

I primed my figures is correct. Primered isn't even a proper word.

Plynkes19 Mar 2012 6:34 a.m. PST

After I primer my figures I painter them. Then once they've been varnishered we all get to player with them.

Hey, "You're not the boss of me" is my patented response to John's stupid edicts. Get your own. :)

Black Cavalier19 Mar 2012 6:47 a.m. PST

Thank you John! "Primered" is right up there in my list of annoyances with people saying something is a "mute" point.

pphalen19 Mar 2012 7:58 a.m. PST

Please advice on the corrrect usage…

John the OFM19 Mar 2012 8:46 a.m. PST

Hey, "You're not the boss of me" is my patented response to John's stupid edicts. Get your own. :)

Indeed. It's like stealing Kurt Angle's ankle lock, or Dwayne's Rock Bottom. Get your own finishing move!
Next thing, you will be stealing Ric Flair's music!

RavenscraftCybernetics19 Mar 2012 8:57 a.m. PST

I prim'd my Valkeeri with white gesso.

Personal logo Tacitus Supporting Member of TMP19 Mar 2012 9:31 a.m. PST

My figures have been sprayed and neutered.

Jakse37519 Mar 2012 9:37 a.m. PST

Wwwwhhhhooooooaaaaa. Sorry every time Ric Flair is mentioned I have to do the barbaric whoa that he does. It's in my contract.

Plynkes19 Mar 2012 10:13 a.m. PST

Ric Flair? Is that old fool still at it? I remember him from when my nephew was obsessed with the WWF back in the early 90s.

The Gray Ghost19 Mar 2012 11:45 a.m. PST

That was back when He was in His prim

Plynkes19 Mar 2012 12:49 p.m. PST

My nephew thought Ric was a tool even back then, and he was only ten.

His favourite was some guy who used to say "I'm oozing machismo" (and consequently the ten-year-old nephew used to say that all the time, too) and he had a kind of Latino schtick going on. I don't recall his name, though.

John the OFM19 Mar 2012 2:01 p.m. PST

Ric is still going strong in his 60s in TNA.
Well, maybe "strong" is not exactly an accurate choice of words.

SECURITY MINISTER CRITTER20 Mar 2012 6:43 a.m. PST

Well, maybe "strong" is not exactly an accurate choice of words.

Not if you're talking about his B.O….

chuck05 Fezian20 Mar 2012 1:58 p.m. PST

Indeed. It's like stealing Kurt Angle's ankle lock, or Dwayne's Rock Bottom. Get your own finishing move!

Kurt Angle stole his Ankle lock from Ken Shamrock who stole it from myriad others and the Rock Botom is just a variation of the Russian Leg Sweep.

Oh yeah. I took advantage of the unseasonal weather and PRIMERED a bunch of figures.

Chuck

Stronty Girl Fezian21 Mar 2012 1:34 p.m. PST

I would never say that I had primered a figure.

The correct expressions are, of course, that I have undercoativated a figure or base-coatalised a figure. grin

Broadsword21 Mar 2012 2:50 p.m. PST

jdpintex – You forgot to use a hyphen/dash/minus sign!

alien BLOODY HELL surfer22 Mar 2012 6:44 a.m. PST

honestly, bloody ex colonials, at least the Aussies only made up words to name places, not just make them up because they can't be bothered to learn the correct one! ;-)

Mako1122 Mar 2012 4:35 p.m. PST

Would you prefer primered the miniatures, or primer'ed the mini's, instead?

Bowman25 Mar 2012 8:19 p.m. PST

I've never heard that phrase…………ever.
Is it a Pennsylvania thing?

I must say I do like " undercoativated". Sounds like one of those words Jesse Jackson makes up on the fly, during speeches.

Ditto Tango 2 326 Mar 2012 8:14 a.m. PST

John, I think you should go to this topic:

TMP link

It will make you happy. laugh The title, anyway…

BTW, I had to primer my snow blower a couple of weeks ago!
