Okay, I'm not thinking I have "too many" comics
but danged, if they aren't in every nook and cranny around the house! I'm still evaluating software for cataloging my collection, and in the process I've noticed stacks and boxes everywhere around me. Stuffed next to the paper for my printer, sitting atop my file cabinet, some in my book case of games (RPGs, minis, etc.), another three boxes here, another five long boxes there
danged, if they haven't taken over the house and I never even noticed it! Anyone else have this problem? |

Time to go digital? (My few comics are carefully filed away
somewhere
) |

Mine are all stored in long boxes in our heated, air-conditioned attic. They do take up a *lot* of space, don't they? |

problem? what problem? I dont understand the question. |

Yes, storage is also a big problem for me. A few months ago I catalogued and properly stored my whole collection
I had way, way more than I thought! Soon I will either have to sell some or find more space. So I told the girlfriend we will have to buy a new house soon

I had a house fire as a teen and lost all my rpg books and comics. I only have about 20 comics left that had been left over at a buddies house. Don't take up much room at at ;) That said somewhere around here is a box with some Conan comics I got a few years ago and they just cannot be found. |

I sold all of mine almost five years ago. It paid for a root canal that I needed because of an incident at Historicon. |

Boy, I dunno, Mike, have you ever seen that show called hoarders? Hmmmm. -- Captain Planet (TIM)

The only comic series I ever collected were 100 Bullets and The Boys. In both cases, I ditched the single issues when the collected volumes came out. Tidier, easier to read and don't take up as much space. |

Bill: I am digital for many new comics, but I have no interest in ditching or dumping the old stuff. Ditto: It's funny you should mention that show. Every time it is on, I clean house! Seriously, it's almost a Pavlovian reaction. On the plus side, I have dumped a lot of stuff that I don't need. Even boxed some up and gave it to a needy friend who sold it at a garage sale. |

You know, the more I think of it, the more I realize it's not the number
it's just that I've let them wander all over the house! |

Prior to my deployment overseas, my stuff was everywhere. While home on mid-tour leave, I moved it all to the attic to make room/safeguard it from my toddler and newborn twins. When I get home I imagine it will start to creep out and once again cover every surface. I'm looking to catching up on my new comics from this past year. |
