Just released this week:
link Same formula as the WW1-based original, tower defense where you can jump in and man your various weapons sytems at will. I wasn't sure how the game engine would handle the transition to the 1980's but it works out just fine. The game's a real hoot, the Rambo guy cracks me up every time I deploy him. Can only play the single player campaign as the US in this version. Maybe just as well as the AI's swarming assault tactics seem more credible for the Soviets. My initial take is it plays a little easier than the original, perhaps because the modern hardware is deadlier. Steve |

That sucks, dropzonetoe. Sometimes I think two Xboxes are needed. One you're playing on and a backup unit in case of RROD. Although I must say the last RROD reconditioned unit has lasted me a long time and my wife has put a lot of hours on it playing her solitaire game. |

Loving this game! Takes me back to my 80's micro armor gaming. The minigames are a hoot! |
