Whats the verdict? Any reviews, anyone played? Worth the outrageous Ebay prices? How about the expansion games? Have been enthralled by the series, now thinking about books, minis and boardgames of course! |

It has a pretty good rating on Boardgamegeek. The only real complaint I have seen is that it only plays really well with a full complement of five players. |

It would most likely be me, the best friend and the wife makes 3. I'm a sucker for a pretty boardgame anyway. I'm gonna try it out with three players see how it goes. |

The verdict I have heard is the same one nazrat noted: great game if all factions are represented, can be unbalanced if they are not. |

WARNING! This game is Diplomacy with some chrome. 3 player Diplomacy STINKS ON ICE. The dynamic only works with a larger group of players. |

Thanks adub74. I am picking up the 2 supplements as well which accoring to the reviews helps balance out the game a bit more with fewer players by adding neutral factions which can be influenced to either side. I'm still curious to give it a go. Alos, I'd like to use the basic game as a spring board campaign game for fighting mini battles. Thanks for input. |

Let us know how it goes. If the supplements fix things so that fewer players are required I would certainly be interested in getting a copy. |
