>>In all honesty Batman doesn't belong on the big screen, there's nobody in existence who can give a perfect Bruce Wayne portrayal. Kevin Conroy's Batman will always be the best in my humble opinion.<<
IMHO all the Batman movies put together are not as good as the animated stuff that has been done, the Superfriends excluded.

Prior to 2005, I would have agreed. With the Nolanverse Batman…hard to say (IMHO, of course).

I really liked Mark Hammill's voice as the Joker.

I used to love The Animated Series when I was younger, it had a look and feel all its own. The Arkham Asylum game was very good too.

Nolan's Batman has come the closest to making Batman believable in the real world, but is therefore a necessary departure from the Batman of the comic books and the Animated Series. And while I enjoy "the Nolanverse Batman," my favorite portrayal remains Batman: The Animated Series, which is far more than a kid's show.

I agree Conroy and Hammill as the Joker set the bar.

The animated was my favorite. The girls are hotter.

I like the Burton Batman movies and the Nolanverse Batman a lot, but they still pale to the DC Animated Universe portrayal. I've got all of BtAS, Batman Beyond and Justice League on DVD and my daughter and I have watched all of it. Kevin Conroy IS Batman.

I would recommend all of the new DC animated movies too, since they're made by Bruce Timm and the same crew. Especially the two Batman/Superman movies and Crisis on Two Earths, since they have Conroy.
