My Dad was a customs officer. In the late 70s and 80s he worked in the area that ran the computers with 'suspect' traveller lists, received the terror alerts and terrorist and druggie info etc and manned the security cameras looking for specific people. Each year, someone (likely my dad, he was that sort of bloke) would put out an alert on Santa and send it around Australia. I wish I had kept some of them, they were very funny. eg goes under several aliases, bringing in quarantined animal, trying to being in smuggled goods etc |
