Jd, per Wikipedia it's a FN2000, used by Pervian special forces.

Yes, it does appear "bulky." One wonders, because form follows function, and everything has a reason… Perhaps the FN2000 is "solid" the way it is to prevent things/protrusions that are encountered during operational use from catching in the open spaces between functional parts?

Oh, and uh, yes. Pretty ladies indeed.
