I thought I saw a thread about Wonder Woman's new digs, but it seems to have vanished. Did it get nuked ? |

I inadvertently saw it on some blog while searching for something else. It's
.different, and the majority of responses to it at the blog were quite negative. Time marches on. |

My guess is they changed the costume as a marketing ploy and also because they can. Give it a year or two and things will return to normal. |

We can hope it goes back to normal. That new outfit is enough to
.no, can't think of anything. It just doesn't seem right. |

If it's about her costume, shouldn't the title be "Wonder Woman threads"? |

What exactly does 'on the wrong forum' mean? I thought it was in the 'General' section? |

About time. Female "superheroes" as usually portrayed are frankly ridiculous. They almost always look like they have stepped out of a playboy magazine, wearing little more than a very skimpy swimsuit that they will pop out of if they so much as attempt a single high kick. It's gratuitous wet dream nonsense at its worst that has been perpetuated – with ever more explicitness – for too long in my opinion. I mean really, it doesn't matter what powers they have, how can these women honestly expect to be taken seriously when they present themselves as skimpily dressed sex objects, openly encouraging objectification? It's stupid. Always has been. Congratulations to DC for finally making Wonder Woman about the "Wonder" and not the "Woman." I hope other heroes follow suit. |
