Mr. O'Donnell passed away a week after celebrating his 90th birthday. His seminal crime/thriller comic originally appeared in London's "Evening Standard" newspaper in 1963 and continued until 2001. The pulp character and her adventures inspired several movies and O'Donnell also wrote a number of gothic romance and adventure novels under another name. link Wyatt |

Yup, looks like the link got knocked about. The "new" link looks like the old link link In case that comes back as a 404, look in the upper right, it's one of the current stories with a picture and a link. [Edit] something's messed up on their end, but as I said, the story is up there in the masthead next to the article about the Batman porn parody movie.
