It's a terrain expansion for Heroscape, but will non-Heroscape gamers be attracted by the trees?

Hi,

I remember as a schoolboy buying those little black-and-white booklets. Star… something it was called I think. Unfortunately my small collection got lost while we were moving back home to Poland. I am trying to find replacements on eBay. The stories were quite good as I recall. Anybody help me recall that great publication ?
I am not talking about 2000AD, which I also purchased regularly by the way.

Thanks !

Piotr

was it star reach?

auction

I just tried searching for star under bronze age comics on ebay

I don't think so Napthyme. The format / size was definitely different, almost square and the cover art was usually full page in one or more colors. Thanks anyway, will do some digging on eBay in that category.

Also, each booklet told a different story…

What size was it? StarLord was absorbed by 2000ad in 1978 and was the source of Strontium Dog and Ro-Busters.

Sounds like it might be Starblazer to me? That was the sci-fi counterpart to Commando.

I believe it was A5 or even A6 in size. Color cover, monochrome pages.

Found it !

I remember the "THE OVERLORDS OF OLTAIR" quite well.

Typical Dom timing….

Excellent Dom! I also bought Commando a few times and it had ads for Starblazer in the back I think.

I should have a stack of Starblazers somewhere … They were pretty cool back in the day.

They've made a superb RPG out of it:
