ioffer.com Seems an alternative to eBay. I stumbled across it while doing searches for 1/48 scale LAV-25's and it intrigued me enough register with them. Obviously does not have the breadth and depth because it is a newcomer, but I do like the negotiation process. I hesitate only because I do not see a concrete amount for shipping from China for the product I was searching for and there does not seem to be a manner in which to inquire without making an offer (granted I have not been as dogged in my research of the site yet.) Believe I will will dabble my feet after the new year. At least it looks a heck of a lot less restrictive than eBay is to sellers/buyers. |

Mardaddy if your looking to be an on-line seller forget Ioffer.com unless your selling foreign imitation nock-offs that cost you 10 cents each, or your selling out of print VHS movies you've transfered to DVD. Simply put for sellers the site sucks, especially for gaming stuff. and the make an offer is what drove me off the site. I got sick of the $1.00+free shipping offers on items worth 10X or more that price. after 2 years of no sales and 1,000 $1.00 USD offers I pulled my listings and went back to ebay full time. If you want better places to try as an alternative to ebay I can send you some that are a better place to experiment then Ioffer

Was not considering being a seller. Those using the site must not be serious if they are actually offering $1 USD + free ship. I was just having a hard time finding availability and a fair price on 1/48 LAV-25's I am looking for and came across the site. Appears Kitech is the only company making the 1/48 LAV's and I already have one in hand and built
It's an OK kit, definitely not very detailed or accurate, but with online stores asking $30+ for them
no way, not with that reduced level of detail. Had to search another source and came across the ioffer site – thought I'd canvas the wide breadth of knowledge that is TMP and see what others thought. |
