Stefanie Spielman, wife of former Ohio State All-American linebacker Chris Spielman, has passed away from breast cancer today at the age of 42. She leaves behind Chris and four children, aged 15 to 7. She was a tireless crusader for breast cancer awareness and research. Here is the link from the Columbus Dispatch: link Chris was a ferocious linebacker at OSU, and an All-Pro with the Lions, Bills and Clowns. He has always admitted, though, that Stefanie was the toughest member of the household. Please say a prayer for the Spielmans. |

Hate OSU* but that is irrelevent. She certainly did much for breast cancer research, and it is a great loss. He was a fine player, and my thoughts are with him. |
