Hi TMPers,

I have to do a talk on the history of peptic ulcer treatment. Can anyone let me know of historical people who were troubled by peptic/ gastric/ duodenal ulcers? I'd love to give my talk an angle of how history could have been changed if we'd had modern ulcer treatment 'back in the day'.

Thanks in advance!

I know Napoleon had a gastric ulcer, if that's any help.
