Sometimes the best stuff to watch isn't promoted by the National Sports Media. What do you think are going to be the best games to watch on Thanksgiving?

Here's mine:

Basketball: Portland opens up with UCLA in the Anaheim Tournament. Portland is a WCC team that beat PAC 10 champ Washington last year and returns all 12 players. Portland has a superior point guard and a one man wrecking crew (Ravio). UCLA is down this year. I smell an upset here.

Very possible.

Don't know if turning on basketball over the lopsided Detroit and Dallas games will go over here, but if the football games open up with a performance by any lip synchers or Country Pop artists (I guess they are covered by "lip synchers") I will boycott the NFL and hoops will be the call!

(last year, Detroit, I think, had Jonus Brothers perform, while most of us drowned them out with a chorus of "What the Bleeped text? This is the Bleeped textest thing I've ever seen!" in the 10 seconds before the channel was changed)

I hate the NFL and their marketing
