My local paper decided to eliminate the Win at Bridge syndicated feature last year. Their reasoning (which I though perfectly logical) was who the hell plays bridge anymore and do they really read this stuff? The answer, of course, was legions of old people who have more than enough time to write, telephone, and show up at the newspaper offices in person to register their outrage.

Seriously.

Win At Bridge was back faster than you can say "hip replacement".
