We have UVA at home. (only point of interest is that backup Freshman QB Jacory Harris led a last second TD drive to stun UVA last year, after we trailed the entire game, to get some revenge for UVA's 48-0 Orange Bowl finale in '07, AND al Groh needs to beat UM and VT to save himself this year. Really, Groh's 9 lives may be up).

This is a "must win" for the Canes, after two bad games in as many weeks.

What other big games? When does Iowa play Michigan and/or OSU?

Also, Georgia Tech must lose another game, so Go Duke! (and Wake Forest!)

Is USC out of the PAC10?

When does Bama play LSU?

In other words, I haven't seen next weeks line up, so y'all fill us in on the games. ;)

Go Duke!

Much like the New York Yankees, there is never a good reason to root for Duke that does not involved baby eating Satan worship.

Now you're just being mean to baby eating satan worshipers.

Havingsaid that, since it helps the 'Canes: GO DUKE!!!

(Can I have some BBQ sauce on my baby?)

Oregon is in the cat-bird seat in the PAC 10. but has three games that are anything other than gimmies. So SC still has life if they can get it together and win out.

Penn State gets Ohio State at home.

Bama plays LSU this weekend. Hopefully they've got their act together after a bye week.

And in the 'So what' division, NCSU (2-4) plays U. of
Maryland (2-5)…

Iowa has Northwestern this week, OSU next week and finishes w/ Minnesota.

Oregon has a lot of business to take care of yet.

OSU plays Penn State ( a loss i think). Then has Iowa and Michigan. Could lose all three tho Michigan has been looking weaker as the season progresses instead of better.

I hate to say it but it looks like Texas vs. SEC winner (Florida/Bama) for the title. Hoping for some more shockers to shake things up.

UF could lose one. I'm calling FSU with the upset.

Ed, NCSU just layed down after taking the lead vs FSU! :( Prevent Nickel? against FSU?

Bama beats LSU

I'm afraid OSU PSU is 50/50( :(

Oregon has to lose three PAC10 games, it appears? How does a tiebreaker go to USC?

Iowa loses to OSU in two weeks(what happens? Who is champion? Iowa, 'cause they haven't recently?)

Streitax03 Nov 2009 9:03 a.m. PST

I'm going to have to root for Iowa the rest of this season, but next year, next year I tell you, the Spartans will take it all.

2bit elroy04 Nov 2009 5:50 a.m. PST

OSU could give PSU a game but if they start turning the ball over that'll be the end of it.

Iowa wins out that's it for everyone else. So I guess you root for OSU if you're Penn State. If Iowa and PSU tie then Iowa wins based on head to head competition. If OSU wins out then they win based on the same. So Penn State needs to win out and have Iowa lose twice. Possible but not likely.
