which was the Discovery Wings channel. Then we had the "Hitler Channel" which is what the Military Channel (formerly the Discovery Wings channel) became – although that title shifted over to the History Channel at some point in time. Now, we have the "Cake Channel" which is actually spread across four channels – Food Network, Fine Living Network, TLC (The Learning Channel) and WETV (Women's Entertainment TV – which is also "The Bride Channel" but I digress.) There are no less than six shows dealing with cake: Ace of Cakes, Wedding Cake Wars, Amazing Wedding Cakes, Cake Boss, Last Cake Standing and Ultimate Cake Off plus the occasional Food Network Challenge which features making – you guessed it – cake! There's obviously a demographic for it, but six shows? Wyatt |

I'll take cake shows over bride shows any day. But if I have my choice it'd be neither! |
