Do I need to upgrade my video card to play Empire Total War? I have a Gateway 2.4 GHz Quad CPU; 6.0 GB of RAM; and a 64 bit operating system. When I try to boot the game I get to a screen with boxes (probably the initial selection menu) but it is impossible to read those boxes. If I need one, what type of video card would you recommend? |

Hi, It would help to know what video card you run. The system itself is quite the race horse (very fast/powerful). Most games give minimum and recommended hardware including video. A simple comparison should answer your question. John |

There is a good chance that you will need to upgrade your power supply if you go get a hot, third party video card. |
