Well, they have remade one of the best TV shows ever, The Prisoner. Let's hope the "suckage" is kept to a minimum. How will they replace Patrick McGoohan? Of course, Rover may actually be improved.

Here's something to keep you interested in the meantime:

Nothing can ever replace the original, as a teenager it completely messed with my mind!

I hated the final episode orginally, but now I have to say I love it.

I think back then I always wanted all the answers to such things, but now it's nice with such an off beat series to interpret the ending as to what you think it means.

That is what McGoohan said he wanted.

I read a big article on this new show, I hope it does stay faithful to the orginal concepts.

It won't.

I always like to give something the benefit of the doubt, but the preview and stills look terrible. It's like they heard about the show third-hand from someone who hadn't really paid attention. The new Number 6 seems to be a pussy – and worst of all, it seems to have no real style.

I watched the first two episodes and couldn't take it any more. After 'Mad Men' what a let down.

It's hit the UK terrestrial channels.

Spoilers Spoilers Spiilers and speculation

Episode 1 – Arrival.

Hmmm.

Is 93 meant to be a much older but (seemingly) finally defeated Number 6?

Odd.

Cos, although they chased and shot him during the opening scene, once he fell no-one could be bothered to get his body. Which screams "set-up" by The Village Guards.

Oh well, time will tell. I have a sneaking feeling he really is the original Number 6, isn't dead but has been corrupted and is now running the village (as Number 1).

Which would be Lame.

Just watched the final episode.
Very Good – better than the final episode of the original
