Starting next tuesday (27th) on BBC2, first episode is the building of a full sized Spitfire out of a giant Airfix kit. Among other things he'll tackle during the series are the building of a 10 mile long Hornby railway, a full sized Brooklands out of Scalextric, and a lego house. Should be fun to watch.

Don't forget, Captain Slow has been into space!

The knowledge that he has a girlfriend however, surprised the bejasus out of me

Girlfreind? That's a bit racy isn't it? I thought married.

They had to take the house down a few weeks ago, when no buyer could be found for it.

Kids will love this- wife can go elsewhere.

I always thought he had the air of a "Confirmed Batchelor" about him.
