This film is based on the short story titled "Button, Button". It was first published in 1970 by Richard Matheson, it was later used as the basis of a 1986 episode of the Twilight Zone. Possibly inspired by the Milgram experiment? link |

I thought the same thing. If they are going to milk the Twilight Zone for scripts I want a full production of "The 7th Is Made up of Phantoms" where the tank travels back in time to the Little Big Horn. |

I hope the JSDF platoon had the good sense to bring the tanks. I was always frustrated by that Twilight Zone episode when they didn't take the tank with them. |
