My thoughts on last nights game. (I was there) 1. UCF students/fans are almost all Gator fans, who sport UCF shirts/hats at UCF games, but wear Gator stuff normally. 2. Being Gator fans, they seem to think that the UM UCF game is some rivalry, and have a strange passionate hatred of us (you have to win one game against a team before it can be called a rivalry) 3. Their crowd is loud during the game, but nothing that happens on the field gets them more excited than when the scoreboard flashed the Florida Arkansas result. 4. Their team is well coached, and plays hard. Small wonder few BCS teams will play home and homes against them. |

Give 'em a break Smokie. Poor kids either couldn't get accepted to UF or couldn't afford to go. At least they do go to their school's games and get the chance to see the 'Canes destroy them! Jake |

At the 2007 liberty bowl, I saw just as much gator clothing as I saw UCF. I really don't blame them for going to UCF. If I had lived in the area, thats what I would have done. |
