I just picked up an XBOX 360 and a few games. COD4, FarCry2, and Oblivion. Anyone who plays, my gamertag is LordHypno. I'll probably be picking up Unreal III as well. Send me a friend request and a message with TMP in the text. |

If you want to get figs painted, do not buy Oblivion. I bought that when I had pneumonia. It was good for when I was sick. After that, I had to put the thing in the closet. Steve cavalcadewargames.com nycjadie.wordpress.com |

I was very good back when games had 4 buttons. (Back when dinosaurs walked the Earth.) Once games got more buttpns, my skills deserted me. |

I'll second what nycjadie said. Oblivion consumed huge amounts of my time, but I really enjoyed it. If you like Oblivion, try Fallout 3. |

Just sent a request to AAAxTMP. U R now a friend svsavory. I buy used games mostly, and Fallout 3 is still in the high range for me. I picked up Unreal III today and looooooove it. |

In the days predating dinosaurs, games had only one button (Atari and Commodore 64 anyway) and if they had more than one buttons they all did the same anyway. |

"I buy used games mostly" If you fancy a change from shooting things, one of the best Xbox games ever made was 'Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic'. Rather old now, but works on a 360, and should be able to pick it up used. Star Wars RPG, which sounds awful, but it really isn't. KOTOR II is OK as well but I preferred the first one. Most modern fun game I have is Il-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey, but I don't imagine that will out used cheaply for a while. Really not a bad console flight sim at all. |

I agree with both your recommendations, Martin. KotOR was an excellent RPG, and I really like the new IL-2 game. I have noticed, however, that it's getting a little harder to find titles for the original Xbox. My local Game Stop no longer carries them at all; they shipped their entire inventory to another store a few miles farther away. |

You know me too well. Already have KOTOR! Anyone play Chromehounds? |

lent/given my 360 to my stepson, added it to live yesterday for occasional online use (talk about a painful process, glad I have a PS3!) – I've got the main account (one with a card added to it for purchases) and can be added/found as aliensurfersxbox360 (@live.com if you need this bit). Gamer tag is,iirc,aliensurfers360. :-) we've got Cod 4, Halo 3 – I'll play those, but I won't touch the gears of war games as I think their naff with a stupid viewpoint and control system ;-p |

Yes, I've noticed the older Xbox games are harder to find now, not surprising I guess. The only one I'd really worry about is KOTOR (I still play it from time to time), maybe Full Spectrum Warrior. IL-2 is fun but I miss the sorts of things you get in proper flight sim, like brakes for the undercart, an option to bail out, detailed flap control etc. It was an odd design decision to take the target camera out of 'simulator' mode, as that is a pretty standard feature. Anyway, it is a good effort for a console flight sim. All I need now is someone to make a decent tank sim, even just a port of M1 Tank Platoon would do
Tank Sims seem to be out of fashion these days, they are hardly even available for the PC any more. |

Add me to the list. My gamertag is chriskrum. I've got Unreal 3 but haven't had much of a chance to play it. |

Have you bought Brutal Legend yet? If not, correct this oversight at once! |
