So, did anyone see today's game between the Denver Broncos and the New England (née Boston) Patriots? What about Denver's AFL throwback uniforms?

I predict that since they scored to take the game into overtime, and won, that you'll probably be seeing them again after this anniversary season.

I always liked the "Minuteman" logo better for NE than the current swooshy thing.
As for the Denver uniforms, I thought that the old Padres uniforms were bad. These are MUCH uglier.

These are MUCH uglier.

That's what my brother said, too. I asked him if he remembers seeing or reading anything about the Broncos during their initial two seasons wearing their fabled "monstrosities", but he doesn't. In the meantime, here's a website chronicling the history of the Broncos' uniforms:

And here's but a couple of reactions to the throwbacks worn today:

If anything, I like them for the fact that they're historic, and that they're different. But then again, I can see the other side's opinion, too.

"Pat Patriot"? Yeah, he has class and character. Still, I kinda wish New England would've opted for the tricorn-over-the-number logo on their helmets. Again, "different".

They kind of reminded me of the Swiss Guard.

I agree about the Patriots. They need to dump flying Elvis and go back to Pat Patriot.
