Yep, quality stuff, and I too have a particular soft spot for the SS sketch
. My other favourite has to be the vegetarians one: YouTube link Dom. PS – They also did several radio series which are superb too

Oh, so true, Dom. I love it. Does anyone know if they did a sketch with a writer meeting his agent? There's a line about "Didn't they already write Jaws?" I saw it on YouTube about a year or so ago, but haven't been able to track it down since. |

"The Old lady Job justification committee" on the radio show. Makes you realise how pointless many modern jobs sound when you have to explain what you do to your nan! YouTube link Worth going through slowly just to spot all the jokes in the background (signs etc) |

They're a bit hit and miss I find some stuff is funny other stuff not so much. The channel four sitcom they did called 'Peep Show' is really funny. |

we had to stop playing the radio show in the car, as my wife kept swerving while weeping with laughter. Pat |

Love some of their sketches I have seen. We bought a DVD while in England this summer, but haven't watched any of it yet. |

The old ladies justification was wonderful, especially the last oen where Mitchell and Webb had to justify themselves. My only problem with their material is that if you had heard it on the radio, then you would see it on the TV show, and also on their tour. Mind you, one good bit in the Q&A session at the end was that writing stuff is hard, they produce a great sketch liek the SS officers, and the biggest laugh they got was when David Mitchell kicked a monitor on stage. |

The other job justification one that I particularly liked was the traffic warden, who I seem to recall was the only one to have passed muster when the old ladies analysed the role
. PS – Parzival, maybe that was a radio one? The lazy writers mainly do TV series in the, umm, TV series, but I seem to remember they were film writers on the radio. |
