I haven't laughed this much in a movie is so time. The zombie outbreak is the background, but the actions and dialog of the charaters is great. Surprise appearance in the movie also. So many lines that I can't remember them all and will have to see it again. |

How does it compare to the other comedy zombie movie from Britain? |
| CmdrKiley | 03 Oct 2009 7:56 p.m. PST |
Something makes me think there's at least one green in the works right now that resembles Woody Harrelson's character. |

It's one of the best zombie movies I've ever seen. Obviously american humor is different than british humor. But I'm like oddball, I laughed many times, often so much that tears came to my eye. Most of the audience were the same. Zombie Rule #1: Cardio |

Liked it, not loved it. hated the whole "suprise Appearance thing" Some cool although few Zombies and some great zombie kills. Oh and there is an extra bit at the end of the credits if you missed it you did not miss much. |

Zombieland was more of an "self-narrated, awkward boy coming of age and finding his place in an uncaring world" comedy, unlike the "high school peer-pressure" comedy of Boy Eats Girl or the "everyman's life turned upside-down" comedy of Shaun of the Dead. Good fun, nonetheless! |

Whaddaya think – zombie kill of the week? Its very much in the same vein as Shaun of the Dead. At times funny, scary and crude. Watching it reminded me of other media ranging from Fallout 3 to S. M. Sterling's Post-Apocalyptic noevels. |

Absolutely loved Zombieland. Twinkie (but not Snoball) loving Tallahasee (played by Woody Harrelson) is a scene stealer and LOL funny, and Bill Murray's cameo was also classic. It's not so much a zombie movie as a buddy roadtrip movie (across the United States of Zombieland) with a dash of teen puppy romance thrown in. Highly recommended. |

Glad to hear this Oddball and Fanatik. I read a bad review by someone else here. I'm going tomorrow. |

Took my sons (18 and 23) and all three of us enjoyed it greatly. Woody Harrelson does dominate when on screen. |

Double Tap, what rule was it again? |
| Oddball | 05 Oct 2009 4:01 a.m. PST |
Rule #2: Double Tap. When dealing with zombies don't be stingy with your bullets. |

I haven't seen it yet, but I already know who the celebrity cameo is. IMDB ruined the surprise for me way back in June or July when they included his/her/it's name in the list of castmembers. In fact, don't go there if you want to be surprised – They're still showing it. |

Zombieland was a lot of fund. Well up there with 'Shaun of the Dead' as one of my favorite zombie movies. |

I thought it was ok but not that great. I'm looking forward to the directors cut when they put back in about 20 more minutes-come on, who makes a hour and 21 minute long movie? They must have hacked it good. Some cool stuff, but it didnt live up to the hype imo. Cant even be in the same ballpark as Shawn. |

They're fast zombies so a bit different than SotD. I think SotD is a tad smarter and I'm so familiar and adoring of the work of Pegg, Frost, McDermott and all them that I have to give it preferential treatment. That said: Zombieland is a lot of fun and easily one of the better zombie flicks to come out recently. |

Damn fine piece of cinema, made BETTER by the chicks in the row behind me
three of them on a girl's night out watching a zombie movie. They laughed at the right times and didn't talk on their cell phones or complain about the gore, just once did I hear one go "eew" and that was well deserved. Damn girls are different now than when I was in high school. jim |

I liked it but did not love it. I mean, its got zombies so how could it not at last be mildy entertaining. I'd say 75% of the best parts were on the trailers shown on TV and in the theaters before the movie came out. Still some good parts and worth seeing. |
Uesugi Kenshin | 07 Oct 2009 4:35 p.m. PST |
I thought it was great. A solid "A". Looking forward to seeing it again, and to getting the DVD. I agree, the trailers gave away too much, as always. |

Some of the dialogue was hilarious, like when Tallahassee and 'Little Miss Sunshine' argue whether or not Miley Cyrus is Hanna Montana when she's not wearing a blond wig. |

Two thumbs up from the OFM, and the YFM. |

I would be quite happy to another 5 of these rather than 5 more SAW movies. |
