link This is a great little flash game that lets you play out Stamford Bridge or Hastings, or even a Norman Conquest campaign. There is just enough tactical depth to make it fun, although the typing challenges sometimes feel a bit silly. Watching the animations of the troops, taunt, charge, and form up shieldwalls is pretty cool as well. Worth a look if you are up for an enjoyable diversion. You've been warned, however, that it can become a little addictive.  Oh yeah, the creepy bodybuilder banners get a little old after a while. |
