I would have thought it's more like the Tiki Room at Disneyland, with all the parrots chattering. But I haven't been there (unlike the Tiki Room) so I can't say. |

I've no idea. Perhaps it is to protect the innocents. |

In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Room
In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Room
In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Room
Where the birds sing words, and the flowers croon
In the Tiki Tiki Tiki Room
And that was off the top of my head. I can do the whole thing w/o help. Sad, ain't it?

Not sad. Anyone who has been subjected to it can probably do it. It is a scarring experience. There should be help groups. |

Methinks Richard was compelled to visit the birds at least once on his most recent trip in order to reinforce his training. Wyatt |

Not compelled, WANTED to go
Small World, now I was compelled to go on that one

I have to admit a certain affection for the Tiki Room myself. One of my favorite places. |

I've found it one sided and uninteresting. |

"Dead" is the word you're all searching for. Dead, as in no controversy, varying positions, opinions: dead interest. It never lived; it was still-born. If you want a good Bluey Fezz, then go there and start throwing some real strong opinions around; like "his Oneness" is god on earth

So the verdict is that it's not worth the electrons it is made of

Well, at this point it is pretty much a group of 'RW' (add your preferred derogatory or laudatory phrase) members sharing outrage over progressive policies and calling said items to each others attention. There is one extreme 'socialist' who makes mostly cryptic comments, a foreigner (Brit) who occasionally chips in, and an administration apologist (based on his posts) who shows up to try and stir the pot (out of town for a couple of days it appears). Some good rational discussion from some more of the progressives would liven things up. Unlike the Daily Kos or RealClimate.org (based on several visits) the Blue Fez doesn't feed on itself that well. |

Yeah, TBF is summat like that guy on the island in the Stephen King story who started to cut bits of himself off so he could eat
