Okay, we have a way to go yet and Category 9 Mega-Hurricane Orunez de la Cruz could still pop up, BUT…

September 15th in S.FL normally means that the worst of summer is over and that cool weather is at least just off the horizon.

From this day forward…

It can get as hot for the next thirty (30) days as it was from July 15-Sept 14 (usually the hottest part of the year)…but not hotter and after that it begins to ease off…bit by bit.

The peak of Hurricane Season has passed.

We could have our first "Cool" morning in as little as 15 days (though, that has changed since my youth, we now usually get our first cool AM w/in thirty days).

Cool being defined as 72-69 Degrees F, with low humidity…50% or so.

September has been VERY wet and October can be the 2nd wettest month of the year before the dry season starts, but so far it's been quiet and time is ticking down.

It's not Fall/Autumn by any chance…but the worst should be over from today.
