Where is a good place to find Classic Warner Brothers Cartoons on DVD? Looking for Road Runner, Bugs Bunny and Company, preferably NOT CENSORED (so the are like when we were kids) Thanks! |

A quick look found me these: link Most all of it appears to be 'uncut'. I think Warner is a lot less neurotic than Disney in regards to burying their past. |

Warner is, however, less likely to provide comprehensive coverage. Instead of "complete" collections, we've been getting "Best of" sets, often with no show list on the outside, so actual coverage is hard to gauge. |

IIRC Warner did do a big complete collections of their cartoons. Which was pulled after a few weeks when folks started complaining about the 'racist' tone of some of the works.
All I'll say is they were a product of their times. From the perch of modernity, some of the work would not get made with todays standards. But from a historical view, it was a window into attitudes of the day. |
