Well first. I'd have got off that silly desert planet without having to enter a juvenile into a to-the-death chariot race. Sure the junkman wasn't fooled by Jedi tricks, but the next guy would have been. I'd have got the cash off the first susceptible victim (rewarding him properly in the currency I did have) and be back on my important mission in no time. As for the other question. Well the dark side is strong, and I don't think Jessica Alba is going to want to marry me otherwise. |

As any agonized writer can tell you: you eventually reach a level of frustration with the publishing industry where you would do ANYTHING, yes, anything to sell a book. No act is too heinous, any deed, up to an including murder, would be justifiable if it would only work. But with Jedi powers, just a subtle manipulation and no one even gets hurt.
